What is this site all about?

Many people have asked, is this like LinkedIn? No...we're not like LinkedIn.
Head Hunters make 20-25% of a persons first year salary if they get someone hired. That could be 25k.
Companies are willing to provide employees a bonus for getting someone hired, often around 2k.

But, JP is not only focused on helping the currently employeed.
With so many resumes that flood a top company, the ones that get most looked at are ones provided by internal referrals.

Why Join?
The easist way to get hired is by knowing someone inside the company looking for talent. Your resume will jump to the top of the pile. Job Patrolers allows you to connect with someone who is looking for a good co-worker.
How do I get paid when I've invited friends?
Evenutally there is a plan to charge a small fee between 2-6 dollars per month to use the service. This will allow our community to maintain a focus of drawing people serious in finding either good talent or a good job. We currently don't have a date when we'll start charging and will look for the individuals using the community to help determine the date and fee. We'll do so via a poll in the upcoming months. If you have additional questions, please use the contact us form.
Is it Ethical?
We believe so, as long as those involved in the hiring decision are not getting a kickback. Since Job Patrolers, Inc has no knowledge of your involvement in the hiring decision we'd like to ask that if you can influence the decision to get a person hired that you not request a Kickback.
How does it work?
We need a YouTube video on this, don't we?. It's really as easy as it sounds.
